My work explores the proposition of ‘Subjectivity and Alterity’ and the concept of existence through the media usage of painting and wood-carving in visual disposition. ‘Subjective and Alterity’ here refers to whenever we see, whenever we touch our limbs, the unformidable happening of genuine existence. I conjecture an entity of with perceiving capacity, while its eyes being the object of observation, turn its attention to the extrinsic world and this living existence can see the eyes of itself. Under such situation, the existence of myself is an object of alterity in the perspective of my eyes. And this is my interpretation of the ‘Subjectivity and Alterity’.
