邱小娟 YAU, Siu Kuen
Memory is crucial theme in siukuen's works and thought her practice, she stitches up fragments of reconnected lost memories and mute voices, inspired by personal experience and historical events, to addressing issues of cultural, identity and human relationship.
In 2017, she dropped her profession of clothing and textile field, where she worked for over 20 years. She now embraces art making as a life long learning after finished Bachelor of Arts (Fine Art) in RMIT University in 2021. Siu Kuen lives and works in Hong Kong.
