唐偉傑 TONG, Damon
Damon Tong Wai Kit was born in Hong Kong in 1979 and graduated with a BA (Fine Art) from RMIT University in 2008 (co-presented with the Hong Kong Art School) and a MVA from Hong Kong Baptist University in 2013. He is a member of the group Rental United that makes socially aware works through a variety of participatory practices. In his work he is inspired by Hong Kong's dense visual landscape of advertising and signage. He uses repetition, text, colour arrangements and ready-made materials such as plastic toys and stickers to formally explore the spatial and cultural connections between image and text.
