由西九文化區管理局與九龍城區議會攜手合辦,1a空間(1a space)策劃的「九龍城藝術節@西九」將在2019年2月23至24日假西九文化區藝術公園舉行。

大會期望透過一連串活動,把九龍城區的文化歷史和社區特色帶到西九文化區,以藝術連結社區,讓公眾體驗兩區的活力。活動共分為六個部分,包括大型環保裝置及開放舞台、公共藝術展覽、親子互動工作坊、藝術市集、藝術書小展及九龍城的過去與未來-相片展。

◤大型環保裝置及開放舞台◢
利用大型裝置與音樂創建一個視覺與聽覺享受互相交融的表演場地。公眾可於活動期間,親身走進藝術裝置當中,與作品互動。
開放舞台會邀請本地年輕音樂人及本地原創音樂單位的音樂創作演出。

◤公共藝術展覽◢
展覽會以「城市記憶」為主題,展出由六位香港藝術家創作的大型公共藝術作品,以藝術手法帶出九龍城區及西九文化區的特色。

◤親子互動工作坊◢
啟發自九龍城的歷史及地區特色,藝術節將舉行六個互動工作坊,讓市民能透過親身的藝術創作,體驗九龍城及西九文化區的特色。
工作坊包括:
- 共構積木城市創意工作坊(無須報名,歡迎即場參與)
- 共構城市地標 - 磚頭噴畫工作坊
- 懷舊鋅鐵信箱工作坊
- 九龍寨城再造工作坊
- 親子飛機製作工作坊
- 翅膀 - 木工親子工作坊

◤藝術市集◢
藝術市集公開徵集藝術家/創作人的原創作品,提供讓創作人與公眾分享的平台,與參加者分享藝術的樂趣。

◤藝術書小展◢
為推廣閱讀及藝術書文化,藝術書小展將邀請創作人展出他們的藝術書,場中將舉行與藝術書有關的活動,透過藝術與文字的交融,分享創作的樂趣。

◤九龍城的過去與未來-相片展◢
九龍城是一個新舊交融的地區,啟德機場的離去、九龍城的橫街窄巷、一座座已屹立數十年的唐樓及文化機構林立的土瓜灣與牛棚藝術村一帶隱藏著豐富的文化與歷史故事。我們將搜集九龍城一帶的地標的歷史相片,並於該處拍攝今天的面貌,在藝術公園舉行「九龍城的過去與未來-相片展」,把新舊相片對照展出,同時突顯兩區的同與不同,讓來自不同地區的市民加深對西九文化區及九龍城區這個別樹一格的地區的認識。

◤導賞團◢
九龍城歷史文化主題導賞
透過介紹本藝術節內各個以九龍城區為主題的作品及設計,訴說九龍城及香港城市發展的人文特色及歷史故事。

公共藝術展覽作品導賞
本導賞團將介紹活動內各件大型公共藝術作品。

◤Rolling Books◢
1. 九龍城區的九本書 - 滾動書車上的微書展
貨Van上的書展你見過未?
九龍城區意象豐饒,知識與休閒,文化與汗水,歷史與創新等符號,交叉並存。Rolling Books特別策劃,推介九本好書連結九龍城區,並於會場內展於Rolling Books的貨Van內外與大家交流,讓大家從書本認識九龍城。
2. 九九九誰是跑手 - 跑步讀書會
Rolling Books 及 Run Of Page突破盲腸,於「九」龍城藝術節@西「九」帶領大家模擬「九」個Check Points的跑步高強度間歇訓練(HIIT),戲謔為「九九九誰是跑手」,讓初學跑步的朋友,一嘗這種高增值的訓練項目。尤其在西九文化區大片的草地與石屎路一帶,體驗春天海風味道合成汗水淚水的一種強度訓練初體驗;結合線索式尋找Check Point城市定向遊戲,一同跑步遊走西九文化區來破案。運動之後的讀書會,參加者以「偵探小說」為主題自由解讀,自行挑選及帶備一本書,作3至5分鐘的分享。

3. 我是麵飽師傅 - 親子戲劇工作坊
九龍城區有一間老字號的麵飽小店,再找不到年青朋友入行承傳麵飽師傅的手藝了。親子朋友透過這個戲劇工作坊,由戲劇導師帶小朋友透過角色扮演和參與式戲劇,共同創作麵飽小店的故事,了解每個生日蛋糕的創作歷程。

Co-organised by the West Kowloon Cultural District and Kowloon City District Council, and programme partner 1a space, “Kowloon City Art Festival @ West Kowloon” is a community engagement event to be held on 23-24 February 2019 at the Art Park of West Kowloon Cultural District.

This free event with lots of activities will feature six components ranging from “Large-scale Eco-friendly Installation and Open Stage”, “Public Art Exhibition”, “Parent-child Interactive Workshop”, “Art Market”, photo exhibition “The Past and the Future of Kowloon City", and “Mini-Artbook Fair”.

Join us on the Art Park lawns and experience the vitality of Kowloon City District and West Kowloon!

◤Large-scale Eco-friendly Installation and Open Stage◢
There will be an eco-friendly large-scale installation and open stage at the central area of the festival to create an environment with visual and audio enjoyment. Audience can have direct interaction with the installation.
Open stage will be a free outdoor music event with a lineup of local performance groups and young musicians.

◤Public Art Exhibition◢
Local artists are invited to create sculptures, installation or multimedia artwork based on the theme “Memory of City” in order to emphasise the characteristics of Kowloon City and WKCD via arts.
Participating artists include (no particular order):

- Cecilia Ho

◤Parent-child Interactive Workshop◢
Inspired by the history and heritage of Kowloon City District, 6 interactive and family-friendly workshops will be conducted at the festival. It aims to promote the cultural and historical character of Kowloon City District through creative practices and enhance the creative spirit of the West Kowloon.

- Nostalgic Zinc Iron Mailbox Workshop
- Remake Kowloon Walled City Workshop

◤The Past and the Future of Kowloon City Photo Exhibition◢
Kowloon City is a district where the old is being transformed into the new. Numerous cultural and historical stories remain under the Kai Tak Airport, the streets, the half-century-old Tong Laus and the Cattle Depot Artists Village in Kowloon City. The Past and the Future of Kowloon City Photo Exhibition will showcase the historical and the recent photographs of the landmarks in this unique area. By emphasising the similarity and difference of the Kowloon City and West Kowloon, participants could deepen their understanding to these fascinating districts.

Tour around the festival and share heritage and community stories of Kowloon City District and the urban development of Hong Kong in this 45-minute guided tour.

Looking for new ways to connect with your children or partner? Join us for an outdoor partner yoga workshop supported by Yoga GOM and learn simple yoga poses for two while you take in the beautiful scenery of the Art Park and the refreshing sea breeze.

◤Rolling Books◢
1. Nine Books for the Nine Dragon City - Mini-exhibition of books on wheels
With the rich diversity of the Kowloon City District, we have selected nine fascinating book titles to connect you to the district.
(Exhibition materials mainly in Chinese)

2. Murderers on the run - Running-Reading session
An innovative running-reading event supported by Rolling Books and Run of Page. Participants, together with the running coaches, will join a city orienteering game simulation setting in the West Kowloon Cultural District with HIIT training. It will be followed by a reading session to read books about detective stories.

3. I am a Baker - Parent-child theatre workshop
A tradition cake shop in Kowloon City District finds it difficult to recruit young bakers. Through a simple acting training class, kids learn more about the story of bread and birthday cakes, echoing with the taste bud memories of their parents.
